Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site about 40 km away from Agra is too often skipped by tourists who rush in to see Taj Mahal and then leave again.

The half-day excursion from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri is time well spent. This palace was build from 1571 to 1585, by Mugal emperor Akbar to honor the sufi saint Salim Chishti.
