Ethiopia, the mythical land of the Queen of Sheba, and (allegedly) home to the Ark of the Covenant. The cradle of mankind, and the country where coffee originated. A rich and vibrant cultural history, and a proud heritage as the only African country that successfully fought back a putative European colonial power (Italy).

I have been to Ethiopia four times. Twice in 2004, then in 2017 and 2019.
The pictures from Axum are all from the 2004 trip, while most of those from Addis Ababa are from 2017. The picture of the African Union HQ is from 2019, when I was a keynote speaker at the African Innovation Week.
