Nigeria, the giant of West Africa, and the continent’s biggest economy. From 2012 to 2014, I was living in Nigeria’s vibrant megacity, Lagos. The place is a thrill and a headache at the same time. I was commuting to Nairobi on an almost weekly basis, though, and due to restrictions imposed by my employer at the time, I wasn’t able to travel all that much in the country, beyond a visit to Abeokuta, and to Benin City.
